Ingen förpackning men skickas väl paketerad.
A respected DAC/amp combo, and the price sits a bit above the local midpoint but still inside the normal used band. At kr 6,000 against a typical SEK range centered around kr5,504 and spanning roughly kr5,255 to kr5,753, this reads as mildly ambitious rather than a bargain, but not out of line if the unit is clean and complete.
The HD25 is well liked for its quiet, composed sound and straightforward usability, so a good-condition example can be a solid buy for a system needing a tidy digital front end. The upside is strongest if it comes from careful ownership with the original box, remote, and cables; at this level, those extras help justify the ask. If anything is missing or the condition is vague, there’s enough supply history to negotiate.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Hegel Music Systems traces its roots to 1988 at the Technical University in Trondheim, Norway, where student Bent Holter founded the company as part of his thesis on revolutionary transistor amplifier design. Targeting distortion—the bane of traditional hi-fi—Holter developed the patented SoundEngine technology, laying the groundwork for Hegel's enduring innovation. From modest beginnings in the early 1990s, with early DACs in 1994 and CD players by 1996, the brand expanded steadily, even hiring engineers amid the financial crisis to pioneer advanced D/A converters.
Hegel's product lineup centers on high-end electronics, excelling in integrated, pre-, and power amplifiers that deliver effortless power and precision. They also produce sophisticated standalone DACs, CD players, and phono stages, emphasizing digital integration and streaming capabilities. Manufacturing occurs in China, while Norway handles all design, circuit development, testing, and software.
Positioned firmly in the high-end hi-fi market, Hegel commands a global reputation for musicality, neutrality, and build quality, with dealers in over 60 countries and accolades like the HiFi+ Innovation Award. Collectors and discerning audiophiles prize its no-nonsense Scandinavian engineering, bridging modern digital demands with analog purity in a competitive boutique landscape.
