Commercial Rega P6 Turntable We recently traded in this wonderful (and current model) Rega PL6 turntable with NO cartridge. Not pictured is all other accories, external PSU, but they are included. This is a buyer’s market for this deck of P6 listings: at A$1,625, it sits a bit above the A$1,593 75th percentile, so the ask is ambitious rather than sharp. It’s not wildly out of line, but compared with the cluster around A$1,569 median and A$1,531 at the lower quartile, there isn’t much discount built in.
The P6 is well regarded for extracting a lot of musicality from a simple, fuss-free design: speed stability, a capable arm, and a platform that can scale with a better cartridge make it a long-lived buy. In excellent condition, with a clean plinth and ideally the dust cover, mat, and power supply all present, this can be a very satisfying table for a buyer who wants Rega’s easy rhythm and timing without stepping up to a much pricier deck.

Rega Research, founded in 1973 in Essex, England, by Roy Gandy and Tony Relph, emerged from Gandy's lifelong passion for vinyl playback.
