For a well-kept used deck, that’s a sensible asking price and a good place to be if you want a competent playback/recording machine without paying collector money.
The CT-W208 is worth a look because Pioneer dual-well decks are easy to live with, reliable when maintained, and handy for tape-to-tape dubbing or quick archiving. “Excellent” condition is the right place to be for a deck this age, but the usual cassette checks still matter: clean transport, stable playback speed, working auto-reverse, and no worn belts or sticky controls. If it powers up cleanly and both wells behave, this looks like a worthwhile grab.
