A$5,750 is ambitious for a plain used 340i unless this is the fully loaded D3PX-style version with DAC, phono, and balanced inputs; comparable used examples of the 340i X are often sitting around A$2,700–A$3,600, while higher-spec, well-kept units can climb toward about A$4,500–A$5,200. At A$5,750, the listing only makes sense if it’s a complete, original, optioned package in genuinely excellent condition.
That said, this is a very good integrated: smooth, powerful, and controlled, with enough current to wake up difficult speakers and a sound that stays refined rather than clinical. If the box, manuals, remote, and any factory-installed modules are all present, that adds real value; if not, I’d want a stronger price.
