Seller's Description

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Compared with buying a new soundbar at this price, €180 is not a steal, but it is still a respectable ask for a used music-first room speaker if everything is complete and pristine. Against the recent market you provided, it sits above the €173 75th percentile, so this is ambitious rather than a bargain; I’d only pay it if the condition is truly near-new and the seller includes all the bits that matter.

This is a clever lifestyle piece: attractive design, easy placement, and better everyday integration than most plain speakers or mini soundbars in the same bracket. The upside is strongest if you value the decor-friendly form factor and want a clean, modern setup without chasing separates. At this price, I’d verify the wall-mounting hardware, power supply, and any original packaging, because those extras help justify the premium.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Samsung

Samsung Electronics, founded in 1969 in Suwon, South Korea, by Lee Byung-chull, began as part of the Samsung Group with a vision embodied in its name—"three stars"—symbolizing power, abundance, and enduring brilliance. Initially focused on electronics like black-and-white televisions and semiconductors, the company rapidly expanded into consumer appliances, earning global recognition in the 1970s for mass-producing home electronics that set industry standards for reliability and innovation.

In hi-fi audio, Samsung's direct offerings emphasize integrated soundbars, wireless speakers, and headphones optimized for its Galaxy ecosystem and QLED televisions, prioritizing seamless connectivity and immersive home theater experiences over standalone components. Through its subsidiary Harman International—acquired in 2017—Samsung commands a vast portfolio including JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG, and, following the 2025 $350 million purchase of Sound United, premium brands like Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Polk Audio, and Definitive Technology. This arsenal spans amplifiers, turntables, DACs, and high-end speakers, blending legacy hi-fi engineering with modern DSP and streaming.

Positioned as a dominant mid-to-premium market force rather than a pure high-end boutique, Samsung leverages scale and ecosystem integration to deliver accessible excellence, appealing to discerning buyers seeking value-driven performance without niche esoterica. Its aggressive acquisitions have reshaped the audio landscape, making it a pivotal player for hi-fi enthusiasts prioritizing versatility and future-proofing over vintage exclusivity.
