This is a late-’90s/early-2000s-era model, so timing matters mostly as a vintage buy rather than a current-gen value play. At €65 in excellent condition, it lands in fair-to-strong territory: typical used asks I’ve seen are often around €45-€60, with cleaner examples sometimes stretching to about €70, so this is not a steal but it is reasonable.
What makes it worthwhile is the AKG house sound: a roomy, comfortable semi-open presentation with easy midrange presence and decent bass for the era, plus a build that can still hold up if the pads and cable are healthy. If the listing is truly clean and complete, that’s the upside here—good vintage listening without paying collector-tax. I’d only push back if the pads are tired, the headband is cracked, or it needs nontrivial rehab.
