Excellent condition helps, but €950 is still on the rich side for a CR-4. Recent European asking prices cluster more often around about €700-€850 for decent examples, with rougher or more basic listings lower and truly mint, serviced, or especially clean units pushing toward €1,000+.
That said, this is a well-regarded three-head Nakamichi with the kind of playback credibility and build that keeps demand steady. If the deck is fully serviced, azimuth/playback is spot-on, and it includes the original paperwork, box, or a fresh belt/idler overhaul, the premium makes more sense; otherwise, I’d treat €950 as a strong-but-not-screaming buy rather than an outright bargain.
