Seller's Description

COINCIDENT Statement Line Stage Pre Amplifier Coincident Statement Line Stage - WE 101D Tube Pre-Amp   Fantastic sounding tube Pre-Amp, one of my top fav’s but looking to head a different direction and sadly cannot keep them all..   I found it very smooth sounding and classic 101 tube sound, and can get very nice and tubey sounding with neutral speakers and using power filtration, mellower SS/Tube power amps, cables etc reminds me very much like a top end WE 300B low watt SET amps I've had but this is a pre-amp so can go as loud as you want with power amps.   This is a rare limited made model

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

It’s a buyer’s market for this category at A$3,499. I can’t confidently benchmark a used Coincident Statement from the title alone, so the price is hard to judge without confirming exactly which Statement version, driver complement, and condition details are involved. As listed, I’d treat A$3,499 as potentially fair only if the speakers are complete, original, and in genuinely clean working order; if they’re cosmetically rough or need service, the price starts to feel ambitious.

What makes Coincident worth chasing is the usual strengths of the brand: big-scale, lively dynamics, very open midrange presentation, and a “musical” rather than clinical balance that tube-friendly systems tend to love. If these are from a careful owner and include original packaging, grilles, and any factory accessories, that improves the value a lot because resale and shipping are easier. For a pair like this, I’d want to verify driver condition, veneer/cabinet health, and whether any crossover or tweeter work has ever been done.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Coincident

Coincident Speaker Technology emerged from the vision of Israel Blume, a Canadian audio enthusiast dissatisfied with the sonic shortcomings of established brands like Quad, MartinLogan, and Wilson. Founded in 1993 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, the company debuted its first product, the Triumph two-way bookshelf speaker, in 1994. Blume's hands-on approach—designing and manufacturing speakers entirely in Canada—quickly set Coincident apart, evolving from modest origins to a lineup spanning floorstanders, bookshelves, and beyond.

The brand's core focus remains loudspeakers, renowned for their superior build quality, high sensitivity, and wide frequency response, often at competitive prices against pricier rivals. Over time, Coincident expanded into a full system ecosystem, introducing cables and electronics such as amplifiers to complement its speakers, enabling cohesive high-performance setups without compromise.

Positioned as a niche boutique in the high-end audiophile market, Coincident commands respect among discerning buyers for delivering exceptional value and transparency. Its products carve a dedicated following, emphasizing uncolored reproduction and robust construction that punches above its weight, making it a go-to for those seeking reference-level sound without extravagant costs.
