€400 is ambitious for this one: it sits just above the 75th percentile of recent used AirPods Max asks in EUR, so I’d only call it fair if the set is unusually clean, with strong battery health and the right extras. Otherwise, it’s priced at the premium end of the used market rather than as a deal.
That said, the appeal is real: the AirPods Max are still loved for their big, polished sound, excellent noise cancellation, and superb build quality, with especially strong integration if you’re in the Apple ecosystem. At this price, I’d want confirmation of condition, battery performance, and included accessories, but if it’s genuinely tidy and complete, it can still be a worthwhile buy for a buyer who values the experience over chasing the absolute lowest price.
