It plays just PERFECT when it is laying on the side (like from pictures two through six), but if it is laying flat (like on the first picture,) you could hear a little noise With each revolution. Not a big deal, but I thought I mentioned it. it does come with equally as rare dock as well! So you will never need to buy batteries! Perfect to put on your discman on your deak and ahow off while you're at work...
