Kan även stå i rack då det inte avger någon värme alls, blir inte ens ljummet. Drivit mina Pass Labs X600 med bravur men föredrar ett av mina andra försteg, så avyttrar därför detta. Mycket fint skick med några håratråsfina repor på toppen som endast syns i direkt släpljus men annars i mycket bra skick, helt utan skador. Komm
Compared with a good integrated amp at this price, this is a fairly sane way into serious separates, and kr 16,000 looks around fair rather than a steal. Recent used asks for the same model cluster roughly in the kr 17,000–19,000 range, with one well-kept example up near kr 17,500-equivalent and another around kr 18,000, so this listing sits just under the middle of the pack rather than at bargain-bin level.
What makes it appealing is the sound: the CP-500 is a fully balanced, very clean, authoritative preamp that still feels genuinely high-end, especially with balanced sources and power amps. It’s also a respected Classé piece from the era when they built for serious systems, so a tidy unit with remote, box, and documented service history would be a strong buy. At this age, I’d mainly want confirmation that all inputs, display, and remote functions are solid, because condition and completeness matter more than chasing a lower number here.
