Bought few months ago directly from Thomas and Stereo (Galion Audio) from Canada + paid import duty. The A$5,000 ask is a bit above the typical used range for this amp in Australia, which recent classifieds put around A$3,900–A$4,200 for good-condition examples, so this is not a bargain, but it’s also not wildly out of line for an excellent unit. With the original RRP around A$6,200–A$6,600, it lands in the “buy if you really want this one” zone rather than pure value territory.
That said, the TS A20 has a strong reputation as a compact Class A power amp with serious build and current delivery for its size, so a clean, well-kept example can be worth paying up for. The upside here is condition: if it’s truly excellent, complete, and from a careful owner, you’re buying a premium piece that tends to attract enthusiasts rather than casual flippers.
