New, the S12 Pro was roughly €125–€150, so €70 in excellent condition is a genuine bargain. It sits well below the €119 25th-percentile comparable price and far under the €165 median, making this one of the better used buys rather than merely a fair deal.
The S12 Pro remains a strong performer: its 14.8mm planar driver delivers fast, textured bass, sharp detail and an energetic, spacious presentation, while the machined-aluminium shells and modular cable add real practical value. The replacement eartips are a welcome bonus, especially if the originals were worn. Its V-shaped tuning can run bright and the lower mids are slightly recessed, so it suits listeners who enjoy lively, detailed sound more than those seeking a warm, vocal-forward balance. At €70, though, that is a small stylistic caveat, not a reason to hesitate.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Letshuoer is a Chinese hi-fi brand best known for in-ear monitors and related portable audio gear. The company’s own site says it was founded in 2021, while other audio sources trace its roots to 2016 under the earlier Shuoer/Letshuoer identity, so the precise founding date is a little unclear; either way, it is a relatively young brand with an audiophile-led origin rather than a long industrial heritage.
Its core focus is clearly on IEMs and other headphone products, including wired earphones, high-end headphones, TWS models, portable players, and DAC/amp units. It is not known as a speaker, turntable, or traditional full-size electronics brand. The reputation was built largely on planar-magnetic models such as the S12 family, which brought technical performance and strong value into the sub-$200 bracket before the company moved into more ambitious flagship territory.
In the market, Letshuoer sits in the niche boutique to upper-mid-tier space, with selective high-end models at the top end of its range. It is especially respected among enthusiasts who follow Chi-Fi and planar IEMs, where it has earned a reputation for serious engineering, distinctive tuning, and competitive pricing. It is not a vintage collector brand or a broad mass-market name; its appeal is concentrated among informed listeners looking for performance-first portable audio.
