Nordost Super Flatline Speaker Cables ***PRICE REDUCED*** For sale is one pair of Nordost Super Flatline speaker cable. These were originally purchased as a 4m pair but I had them professionally altered so that one side is a run of a 5 metre length and the other side is a run of a 3 metre length, which was done in order to make them suitable to reach the power amps located in the far corner behind the listening position. These were ideal to place underneath a rug in a long living room. Another big advantage of these longer cable runs is they allow the user to locate their equipment away
With three recent AUD comparables, this sits just under the median at A$350 versus a median A$373, so it reads as a fair buy, not a bargain or an overpriced ask. It is also comfortably above the 25th percentile at A$289 and below the 75th percentile at A$435, which is exactly the middle of the pack for this cable.
This is a well-regarded Nordost design, and the Super Flatline style is liked for its speed, openness, and clean, low-loss presentation, especially if you value a slightly leaner, more transparent top end. At this price, the upside is mainly in getting a premium cable without paying full enthusiast money; I’d just want to confirm termination quality and overall cosmetic condition, since those matter more than age here.

Nordost, an American high-end audio brand, traces its origins to 1991 when it was founded in Massachusetts, just outside Boston. From the outset, the company committed to designing, engineering, and manufacturing all products exclusively in the United States, drawing on aerospace-derived technologies like conductor solutions to pioneer its signature flat cable geometry. This Northeast-rooted heritage—reflected even in the brand's name, meaning "northeast" in Scandinavian languages—has defined Nordost as a beacon of innovation in signal preservation for over three decades.
The brand specializes in premium hi-fi cables and accessories, including speaker cables, interconnects, digital cables, power cords, and video transmission lines. Nordost employs advanced techniques such as Micro Mono-Filament construction and mechanically tuned lengths to minimize distortion and maximize fidelity. Beyond cables, its lineup extends to power distribution systems, grounding solutions, and resonance control devices, forming a comprehensive ecosystem that enhances the entire audio chain without venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or turntables.
Renowned among audiophiles worldwide, Nordost occupies a premium niche in the high-end market, celebrated for revolutionary designs that deliver unadulterated sound. From accessible Leif series entry points to exotic Valhalla and Odin flagships, its products command respect in over 60 countries, positioning the brand as a go-to for discerning buyers seeking boundary-pushing performance and uncompromising quality.
