Offered is „McIntosh C 2600“ by McIntosh as second-hand device from the category „Pre-Amplifier / Processor“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 7283140920 ends on 21.11.2026 at 14:21 o'clock.
The timing is a little late-generation, but not obsolete; this is the later C2600 with enough real-world demand that clean examples still move, and €4,500 sits clearly below the €4,901 25th percentile and well under the €5,070 median. That makes it a strong buy, with room left for a careful buyer on a model that is still widely respected.
What keeps the C2600 appealing is its mix of a genuinely musical tube line stage, strong phono section, and modern convenience without the usual compromises of older McIntosh pieces. At this price and in good condition, it looks like a proper enthusiast’s opportunity rather than a gamble; just make sure the unit is complete and functions cleanly, since you want the usual accessories and a fully healthy tube stage on a preamp like this.
