A Bose bass module 700 sits near the top of Bose’s home-theater sub lineup, with a polished wireless setup and the kind of deep, compact bass that pairs especially well with matching soundbars. At €450, this listing is basically right on the money versus the local used market: it sits just above the €439 median and very close to the middle of the pack, so I’d call it fair rather than a bargain.
The excellent condition helps, because this model’s appeal is in clean integration and strong low-end extension, not bargain-bin tinkering. If it’s complete and truly well kept, it’s a solid buy for someone building or upgrading a Bose setup, especially if timing matters and you want one that’s ready to drop in. I wouldn’t overthink it at this price; just confirm the pairing works properly and that the original power lead is included.

Bose Corporation traces its roots to 1964, when MIT professor Amar Gopal Bose founded the company in Natick, Massachusetts, after growing disillusioned with the poor performance of a high-end stereo system he purchased as a graduate student. Driven by a passion for replicating the immersive qualities of live music through rigorous acoustic research, Bose launched the venture with initial contracts for the U.S. military and NASA, emphasizing innovative speaker designs that prioritized indirect, reverberant sound over direct radiation. This American heritage, rooted in psychoacoustics and engineering excellence, has defined the brand's pursuit of "Better Sound Through Research."
Bose excels in consumer and professional audio categories, renowned for its home audio systems, premium speakers like the iconic 901 Series, and pioneering noise-canceling headphones first prototyped in the 1980s for pilots. The lineup extends to vehicle sound systems, portable Bluetooth speakers, and professional installations, but steers clear of niche hi-fi components such as amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, focusing instead on integrated, user-friendly solutions that blend advanced signal processing with spatial audio reproduction.
Positioned as a premium mid-tier powerhouse in the global market, Bose commands widespread appeal among discerning buyers seeking accessible high-performance audio without audiophile esoterica. Its reputation for innovation and reliability has built a loyal following, though purists occasionally critique its measured sound signature, cementing Bose as a dominant force in mainstream hi-fi rather than high-end boutique or vintage realms.
