Offered is „DLP Projektor“ by SIM 2 as second-hand device from the category „Faulty / for hobbyists“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 1581378304 ends on 22.11.2026 at 15:05 o'clock.
Timing matters here because this is an older SIM2 DLP era projector, so value depends less on being current-gen and more on whether it’s been kept healthy and complete. At €290, it’s a strong bargain versus your market anchor: well below the €608 25th percentile and miles under the €1,012 median.
SIM2’s older high-end DLP models are still respected for build quality and a punchy, cinematic image, so the upside is real if you want a serious bargain projector for a dark room. The main buy-in is condition: confirm lamp hours, image uniformity, and that all input/cable essentials are present, since age-related wear is the only material concern here. At this price, though, it reads as a very sensible buy rather than a risk.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
SIM2 Multimedia, founded in 1995 in Italy, embodies the nation's renowned craftsmanship in electronics, with roots tracing back to early innovations in high-definition projection technology from the 1990s. Emerging as a boutique specialist amid multinational giants, the company has built a global presence through sister operations in the US, UK, China, and Germany, while distributing in over 60 countries. Its unwavering dedication to Italian design and engineering has defined three decades of excellence in visual display systems.
The brand focuses exclusively on premium home cinema projectors, eschewing diversification into amplifiers, speakers, turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables. SIM2 pioneered high-definition projectors and leads in HDR technology since 2007, producing DLP-based models like the UltraNero4 and Grand Cinema series. These feature laser platforms, large 0.66 DMD chips, and crystal glass cabinets that blend aesthetic appeal with durability, tailored for residential theaters, commercial spaces, and e-cinema applications.
Positioned firmly in the high-end luxury market, SIM2 commands respect among cinephiles, architects, and discerning home theater enthusiasts for pristine image quality, innovative performance, and striking industrial design. Far from mid-tier or vintage appeal, it occupies a niche as a boutique leader, delivering unparalleled visuals that prioritize quality over mass production.
