Strong buy at this level: £1,395 sits comfortably below the £1,944 median and even under the £825–£5,650 recent comparable band’s midpoint, so it reads as a good-value ask rather than an ambitious one. For a well-regarded Trilogy valve integrated, that’s the sort of price that should get serious attention if the spec and condition are straight.
The appeal here is the usual Trilogy mix of musicality, authority, and genuinely high-end British build, plus the fact that this is an older, less common model with warranty included. That combination makes it attractive to an enthusiast who wants a serious valve amp without paying top-of-market money. The main thing to check is the practical stuff: service history, tube age, and whether the warranty is transferable and meaningful.
