Are you looking for a compact, capable subwoofer at bargain money? At €180, this is a strong deal: it sits well below the €308 25th-percentile mark from 13 comparable listings, against a €554 median and €663 75th percentile. Assuming the model and condition are accurately described, the asking price is notably attractive rather than merely fair.
The matching T10 subwoofer is well suited to the Ultima Mk3 system, adding useful low-end weight for films and music while offering front-firing or down-firing setup flexibility. Reviews specifically praise its controlled bass, 30 Hz reach, and ample output for an average living room. At this price, clean operation matters more than cosmetic perfection: briefly test the amplifier, standby function, driver movement, and any supplied feet or grille. If those check out, this looks like an easy buy.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
