At US$64, this is a solid buy: it sits below the US$85 median and under the US$50–US$144 recent asking range, so it reads as a genuine value rather than a stretch. For a working Servo 120, that’s a nice place to be, especially if you want a compact stereo power amp without paying hobbyist-markup prices.
This model has a good reputation as a sturdy, no-drama workhorse for nearfield rigs, garage setups, and active speaker duty, with more than enough honest power for its size. “Tested working” plus included speaker wire adds a little practical upside, and at this price the main thing to confirm is simple: clean channels, no hum, and solid jacks so you’re buying a usable amp, not a project.

Samson Technologies was founded in 1980 in the United States and built its name first in wireless microphone systems. Its early history is tied to pro-audio innovation rather than consumer hi-fi, and the brand has remained focused on practical, affordable audio tools for musicians, broadcasters, podcasters, and creators.
Today, Samson is best known for microphones, wireless systems, portable PA gear, studio monitors, mixers, headphones, and accessories. It is not primarily a turntable, DAC, or high-end loudspeaker brand, and those products are not central to its identity. The company’s strongest association is with accessible recording and live-sound equipment, especially USB microphones and entry-level studio and streaming gear.
In the market, Samson sits in the entry-level to mid-tier professional-audio segment rather than the high-end hi-fi world. Its reputation is for value, convenience, and broad utility rather than audiophile prestige or boutique craftsmanship. For buyers, it is best understood as a dependable mainstream brand for functional audio hardware, not a vintage-collector name or luxury hi-fi maker.
