At €300, this sits well below the recent used market for a PE 33 Studio, with comparable asks clustering around a €2,138 median and €701 at the 25th percentile; that makes it a strong bargain rather than merely fair. For a vintage Perpetuum Ebner, that’s a very attractive entry point if the deck is complete and working.
The PE 33 Studio is a respected German idler-era table with real vintage charm, solid build, and plenty of upside if it’s already been serviced or comes with the right arm and plinth setup. At this price, the main thing to confirm is practical condition: speed stability, motor noise, tonearm bearings, and whether any original parts or the right cartridge/headshell are missing.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Perpetuum Ebner is a German turntable brand with deep Black Forest roots. The original company dates back to the early 20th century, with sources pointing to a founding in 1911 by Josef Steidinger in St. Georgen, Germany; other accounts emphasize its later rise as a major phono maker before the brand eventually disappeared and was later revived.
Today, Perpetuum Ebner is focused almost exclusively on turntables and related record-playing products, not a broad hi-fi line. The revived brand offers a small range of models, positioning itself around traditional analog playback rather than amplifiers, speakers, DACs, or headphones.
In market terms, Perpetuum Ebner sits in the niche specialist and heritage-boutique category. It trades on vintage German credibility and collector appeal, with the modern brand’s identity built around reviving a once-important European phono name for vinyl buyers who value mechanical design, provenance, and classic analog styling.
