Offered is „Kangai high end silver-gold audio power cables 1,8 metre (2 available)“ by IKIGAI AUDIO as second-hand device from the category „Power Cords“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 6311985615 ends on 25.11.2026 at 16:27 o'clock.
Should you jump on this at €2,999, or wait for a better entry point? Against recent EUR comparables, this lands well above the €1,702 median and even above the €2,605 75th percentile, so it reads as ambitious rather than fair value.
That said, this is a serious cable from a respected high-end line: the Kangai uses 5N silver, gold conductors, heavy shielding, and proper grounding, so buyers are paying for a very upscale design and execution. If the condition is genuinely good and the set is complete, the main question is whether you want this specific level of cable performance enough to stretch past typical used-market pricing; otherwise, patience should save money.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Ikigai Audio is a Dutch hi-fi brand founded in 2018 by Jeffrey Dam, and it remains closely identified with his design-led, hands-on approach. Despite the Japanese name, the company’s development and production are based in the Netherlands, giving it a distinctly European boutique identity.
The brand is best known for high-end audio cables and related accessories, including interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables, power cords, Ethernet leads, and isolation feet. Its range is organized into clearly tiered product families, with models spanning entry-level through flagship lines.
In the market, Ikigai Audio sits firmly in the niche high-end category rather than the mainstream. It appeals to experienced audiophiles looking for carefully made, premium accessories, and its reputation rests on craftsmanship, refinement, and a strong emphasis on system tuning rather than mass-market breadth.
