US$85 is a fair ask, sitting above the US$73 median but still well below the US$121 75th percentile for recent used listings, so it reads as a reasonable buy rather than a bargain. It’s not cheap, but it’s also not ambitious for a niche piece that combines speaker switching with the visual appeal of dual analog VU meters.
What makes it worthwhile is the convenience: it lets you compare or route two amps into two speaker pairs while adding some rack-friendly retro charm. New units are commonly around US$144–US$160, so a clean used one at US$85 leaves real money on the table if it’s complete and the meters work properly. With no condition details, I’d mainly confirm the selector action, meter illumination, and that the power supply and any original bits are included.

Fosi Audio emerged in January 2017 from a modest 10-square-meter office in Shenzhen, China, founded by Ryan Huang and a partner driven by the conviction that high-fidelity sound should be accessible without elite pricing. The brand represents the new wave of Chinese audio manufacturers challenging the traditionally expensive import-dominated hi-fi market. In less than a decade, the company has grown from a confidential startup to an internationally recognized player, now operating from an R&D center spanning over 2,300 square meters and holding more than 100 patents.
Fosi Audio's product portfolio spans the full spectrum of hi-fi components, with particular strength in compact amplifiers and digital-to-analog converters that deliver disproportionate performance for their price point. The brand manufactures integrated and multi-channel amplifiers, DACs, headphone amplifiers, preamplifiers including phono stages, passive subwoofer modules, speakers, headphones, and cables. This comprehensive range reflects a deliberate strategy to serve both entry-level enthusiasts and experienced audiophiles seeking value-oriented solutions rather than feature-laden complexity.
The brand occupies a distinctly mid-tier, value-conscious position in the market, distributed across more than 150 countries and frequently ranking atop Amazon's hi-fi charts. Fosi's reputation rests on pragmatic engineering—delivering compelling sound quality through efficient, optimized electronics rather than pursuing systematic upscaling. The company sells directly through its website, Amazon, and AliExpress, backing products with lifetime technical support and a 24-month warranty, positioning itself as an accessible gateway into serious hi-fi rather than a luxury or boutique concern.
