Teufel’s Real Blue NC has a solid reputation as a comfortable, good-sounding ANC over-ear with long battery life, and €85 looks like a strong buy against your market anchor. It sits below the €90 median and just above the €77 25th percentile, so this is priced at the good end of fair rather than merely acceptable.
For a clean “excellent” unit, that’s the sweet spot: you’re getting a well-liked travel-friendly headphone with effective noise cancelling, a foldable design, and the kind of battery stamina that still matters. Teufel’s tuning is usually easy to enjoy, especially if you like a fuller, consumer-friendly sound. With no obvious model-specific red flags at this price and condition, this reads as a straightforward buying opportunity.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
