Unknown condition makes this one more of a sensible-but-not-bargain ask than a steal, but £685 is still broadly in line with the current used market for a Densen B320. Recent asking prices cluster around about £500, £650, and roughly £780-£1,150 equivalent on European listings, so this sits near the middle rather than at a real premium.
What makes it worth a look is that the B320 is a well-liked 2x100W power amp with a strong reputation for speed, drive, and grip, plus enough current to make many speakers sound more alive. If it’s genuinely clean, fully working, and ideally comes with the original box, manual, or proof of service, that supports the price. If those are missing, I’d still call it buyable, just not exceptional.

Densen Audio Technologies emerged from Denmark's vibrant hi-fi scene in the late 1980s, founded by Thomas Sillesen in Esbjerg. Established around 1988-1993, the brand quickly carved a niche with its passion-driven approach to sound reproduction, blending musical intuition with meticulous engineering. By 2023, Sillesen passed the torch to new owners Casper Reinhold and Ditlev Leth, who acquired the stock and intellectual property to propel Densen forward while honoring its Danish roots.
The company specializes in mid-to-high-end amplification, delivering integrated amplifiers, preamplifiers, and power amps renowned for their rhythmic drive and musicality. Recent expansions include digital streamers like the Oxygen CAST, featuring Google Cast integration, TOSLINK inputs, and analog outputs—all manufactured in Denmark. While not venturing into speakers, turntables, headphones, or cables, Densen's focused lineup emphasizes seamless integration and superior craftsmanship in electronics.
Densen holds a respected position among boutique high-end brands, often likened to Naim for its engaging, foot-tapping sound. Internationally distributed and backed by a loyal following, it appeals to discerning audiophiles seeking Danish design excellence without mainstream excess—positioned firmly in the premium niche, where performance and heritage command premium prices.
