Offered is „C2500 Preamplifier tube preamp McIntosh“ by McIntosh as second-hand device from the category „Tube-Preamp“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 3436082966 ends on 26.11.2026 at 17:00 o'clock.
A new C2500 was around €8,500, so a €3,800 asking price lands well below half of current new money and sits under the €3,845 25th percentile of recent used comps. That makes it a genuine bargain rather than just “fair,” especially with the condition noted as good.
The C2500 is a respected tube preamp because it brings the big McIntosh presentation: authoritative drive, a smooth but detailed top end, and enough flexibility to anchor a serious two-channel system. At this price, the real upside is getting into a top-tier preamp at a very friendly level; if the unit is clean, quiet, and includes the original remote, box, and paperwork, it looks like a strong buy.
