Against the recent used market, €2,790 is ambitious for this piece: it sits well above the €1,529 75th percentile and far over the €1,017 median, so this is not a casual bargain. Even allowing for the excellent condition and the 8-piece / 4x2 set format, the asking price is at the top end of what these tend to command.
That said, this is a respected high-mass isolation/tuning accessory with a real following, and the larger matched set can be genuinely useful if you need to support a serious speaker or rack setup. If the finish is clean, the set is complete, and you’ve been looking for this exact size and quantity, it has niche appeal — but buyers should expect to negotiate unless the provenance and cosmetics are truly exceptional.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Harmonix is not a recognized brand in the hi-fi or consumer-audio sector. Extensive searches yield no verifiable information on a company by that name producing amplifiers, speakers, turntables, DACs, headphones, cables, or related equipment. The closest matches are unrelated entities: Electro-Harmonix, an American effects pedal maker founded in 1968 by Mike Matthews, focused on guitar fuzz, phasers, and delays like the Big Muff Pi; and Harmonix Music Systems, a Boston-based game studio from 1995 known for Rock Band and rhythm games, acquired by Epic Games in 2021.
Without confirmed details on origin, products, or market position for a hi-fi Harmonix, any description would rely on speculation, which cannot be provided. Knowledgeable buyers should note that obscure or boutique hi-fi brands often require direct verification from manufacturer sites or industry directories, as generic searches frequently confuse them with guitar effects or gaming firms.
If this refers to a specific Japanese cable or accessory maker sometimes called Harmonix (e.g., Harmonix Reimyo), details remain unconfirmed in available sources, positioning it as niche rather than established hi-fi. For accurate intel, consult specialist audiophile forums or retailers.
