Offered is „Lampizator the legendary P17 (full monty) for sale“ by Lampizator as second-hand device from the category „Standing Speaker“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 8867089982 ends on 27.11.2026 at 16:32 o'clock.
New pricing for this exact P17 “Full Monty” is hard to pin down, but the €7,500 asking price sits comfortably above the €6,262 median of 36 comparable used LampizatOr listings, while remaining well below the €17,400 upper quartile. That makes it a fair-to-slightly-strong price rather than a bargain; the value depends heavily on what “Full Monty” includes and the speaker’s provenance.
The attraction is a genuinely distinctive, high-sensitivity dipole design: big, open, fast and unusually effortless, with the scale and immediacy that suit quality valve amplification. The maxed-out version’s upgraded crossover and finish can matter, so confirm the exact driver complement, crossover parts, accessories and whether it is a matched pair. If the condition is genuinely good and the specification is complete, €7,500 is defensible for a rare, serious speaker; negotiate only if options or service history are unclear.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
LampizatOr emerged from the DIY audio scene in Poland, founded by Łukasz Fikus in July 2010. Born in Warsaw in 1965, Fikus began as a self-taught enthusiast in the 1980s, earning the nickname "Lampizator"—a playful fusion of the Polish word "lampa" for vacuum tube and The Terminator—through his innovative designs shared in online communities. By 2010, he formalized the operation with a dedicated workshop in Warsaw, now employing 12 staff and numerous subcontractors, marking a shift from hobbyist roots to a professional enterprise with global reach.
The brand specializes in handmade, custom vacuum tube digital-to-analog converters (DACs), offered in tiers from Level 4 to 7 with options like volume controls, DSD modules, balanced outputs, and upgraded components. While DACs form the core—over 600 units sold worldwide—LampizatOr has expanded into niche products such as the VP4 Silver phonostage, emphasizing tube-based warmth and personalization over mass production.
Positioned firmly in the high-end audiophile market, LampizatOr commands a boutique reputation for exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship, earning near-universal praise from reviewers and enthusiasts. Its privately owned structure avoids investor influence, fueling steady innovation and worldwide distribution, though isolated customer service critiques occasionally surface in forums. For discerning buyers seeking tube-infused digital refinement, it stands as a Polish hi-fi standout.
