Offered is „Cardas Audio Clear Interconnect Rev. 1, XLR-XLR, 1,50m Top-Zustand“ by Cardas Audio as second-hand device from the category „Cable, Power Distributor + Filter“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 9731692800 ends on 27.11.2026 at 23:01 o'clock.
Ambitious. At €1,950, this sits above the recent used median of €1,634 and even clears the 75th percentile of €1,793, so it’s priced on the strong side rather than as an easy grab. That said, it’s not wildly out of line for a desirable Cardas flagship interconnect; the ask is more “top of market” than “bad value.”
The upside here is straightforward: Clear is one of Cardas’s better-known high-end interconnects, valued for a full, smooth, and highly resolved presentation without sounding brittle. If the pair is complete, authentic, and lightly used, a clean example can still make sense for someone specifically chasing this voicing. At this price, I’d want excellent cosmetic condition, verified length/termination, and confidence that nothing has been reterminated or mishandled.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Cardas Audio traces its roots to 1987, when George Cardas founded the company in Southern California, initially operating from a family garage in Ontario. Driven by a quest to perfect audio cables, he pioneered designs using ultra-pure materials, Golden Ratio resonance control, and solutions to transmission line issues. In 1992, the operation relocated to Bandon, a coastal town on Oregon's southern shore, where it remains headquartered and family-run, with George's daughter Angela now at the helm.
The brand specializes in premium audio cables, connectors, and component parts, emphasizing handmade craftsmanship and proprietary conductor geometries that minimize noise and resonance. While cables form the core—spanning interconnects, speaker wires, and power cords—Cardas has expanded to accessories, in-ear monitors, and even music releases, with their wire integrated into high-end speakers and electronics worldwide.
Positioned firmly in the high-end audiophile market, Cardas commands respect among discerning listeners, recording studios, and musicians for delivering transparent, fatigue-free sound. Their products grace the finest systems, embodying American ingenuity and a relentless pursuit of sonic purity that appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking boutique excellence over mass-market compromises.
