This is a seller’s market only in the sense that clean examples still command attention; at €220, though, this is fair rather than a bargain. Your comparable listings put the median at €202, with the 75th percentile at €221, so excellent condition makes the asking price defensible but leaves little room for negotiation.
The BOOMSTER earns that valuation with genuinely substantial sound from a portable cabinet: rich, controlled bass, clear mids and treble, strong dynamics, and enough output for outdoor use. The long-running appeal is its useful all-in-one feature set—Bluetooth, DAB+/FM radio, auxiliary input, remote control, and roughly 18 hours of battery life at moderate volume. At this price, confirm the battery still holds charge well and that the power supply, remote, antenna, and controls are included; otherwise, it is a solid, enjoyable buy rather than an exceptional steal.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
