Teufel’s Ultima line has a solid reputation for giving you a lot of sound per euro, especially in living-room and home-theater setups. At €600, this is well above the recent used median of €205 and even above the 75th percentile at €601, so it reads as ambitious rather than a bargain.
That said, the appeal here is the package’s mainstream, easygoing character: punchy, efficient, and usually forgiving in mixed use, which is why these systems stay popular. If the condition is genuinely clean and it includes all the right pieces, it can still make sense for a buyer who specifically wants this setup; otherwise, the price leaves little room for wear, missing parts, or negotiation.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
