70's Weltron MCM stereo system. Inspired by 2001 Space odyssey or War of the worlds depending on who you talk to. My wife says it looks like the Inspiration for the Rumba ... so ?? Nice white unit with Unbroken original bubble top ( could use a buff out or not ) This unit was designed to be used on a table or Eams Tulip style stand. (MIA). Its been stored for a while but powered up .. the AM FM radio works and sound is coming thru the Needle on the tone arm but the platter was stuck ..I got it unstuck but that's as far as I went and did not want to damage it by trying to take it off. It still has the factory plastic on the chrome ring in the center etc. It basically needs a service to clean and relube and the TT should work fine. I do not have an 8 track to test. But I've included a pix of the head and plastic housing that is unbroken. The good news is that the Line in works so I have been running my iPod thru it. Check out the track I recorded in my studio playing thru this unit ... :) It also has line outs for Aux speakers. This is a super kool piece of MCM Functional design looks sooo great on my counter .. but need a new forever home. Its a pretty heavy unit so it will be shipped in 2 boxes the top piece with the unbroken bubble will be in one and the rest in another box .. Sold AS IS and described to USE AS IS , RESTORE , DISPLAY , OR FOR THE PARTS. No returns ..ask questions Im a legendary packer :) Payment is due at the end of the Sale ~ Quoted Shipping is for the Continental USA ONLY
