Tidy condition. Boxed. Works nicely. Lowers noise floor etc. I was using it for my CD player, Bluray player, TV and other devices to great effect.
Because this is an older, long-running IsoTek design rather than a current model, the timing matters more for condition and completeness than for generation churn. At £185, it looks like a strong bargain against the recent used market: well below the £518 25th percentile and far under the £944 median, so this is the sort of number that usually gets enthusiasts’ attention fast.
The Mini Sub earned its reputation as a capable mains conditioner for a full system, with proper isolation, decent current delivery, and the kind of tidy noise reduction that can make digital sources and front-end components sound more composed. A clean, working example at this price is very much a buy opportunity, especially if it includes the original lead and looks unmolested; only the usual age-related checks matter here, chiefly confirmed operation and intact sockets/fuse, rather than any price-based caution.

IsoTek, founded in 2001 in England by Keith Martin, emerged from a focused mission to combat poor mains power quality that hampers hi-fi performance. Martin's vision drove rigorous research into power optimization, establishing the brand as a pioneer in delivering clean electricity to audio systems. From its inception, IsoTek has prioritized innovation, with products manufactured in Europe to ensure durability and precision.
The company specializes exclusively in power conditioning solutions, including highly specialized mains conditioners and enhancement power cables. These components actively filter and purify electricity from wall sockets, benefiting amplifiers, source components, turntables, and home cinema setups without altering core audio gear categories like speakers or DACs. This narrow focus allows IsoTek to offer scalable upgrades across budgets, from entry-level to reference-grade systems.
IsoTek commands a premium position in the high-end hi-fi market as the recognized leader in clean-power technology, trusted by over 100,000 customers in 45 countries and endorsed by brands like Arcam, Marantz, and Nordost. Hundreds of awards from audio critics affirm its reputation for transformative sound improvements and equipment protection, appealing to discerning enthusiasts seeking measurable performance gains.
