A cable-and-accessories lot is only as interesting as what’s actually in the box, and that matters here. At €300, it’s clearly ambitious versus the recent used market: the €203 median and €231 75th percentile put this well above where most comparable listings land, so it does not read as a bargain.
That said, Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra line is well liked for strong noise cancelling, easy use, and solid everyday comfort, so the right bundle can still be worth considering if it includes the useful bits and is genuinely clean. The upside is mostly in completeness and condition: if this really is original-owner gear with the right cables, case, and no wear issues, the premium is easier to justify; if it’s just loose accessories, I’d want a sharper price.

Bose Corporation traces its roots to 1964, when MIT professor Amar Gopal Bose founded the company in Natick, Massachusetts, after growing disillusioned with the poor performance of a high-end stereo system he purchased as a graduate student. Driven by a passion for replicating the immersive qualities of live music through rigorous acoustic research, Bose launched the venture with initial contracts for the U.S. military and NASA, emphasizing innovative speaker designs that prioritized indirect, reverberant sound over direct radiation. This American heritage, rooted in psychoacoustics and engineering excellence, has defined the brand's pursuit of "Better Sound Through Research."
Bose excels in consumer and professional audio categories, renowned for its home audio systems, premium speakers like the iconic 901 Series, and pioneering noise-canceling headphones first prototyped in the 1980s for pilots. The lineup extends to vehicle sound systems, portable Bluetooth speakers, and professional installations, but steers clear of niche hi-fi components such as amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, focusing instead on integrated, user-friendly solutions that blend advanced signal processing with spatial audio reproduction.
Positioned as a premium mid-tier powerhouse in the global market, Bose commands widespread appeal among discerning buyers seeking accessible high-performance audio without audiophile esoterica. Its reputation for innovation and reliability has built a loyal following, though purists occasionally critique its measured sound signature, cementing Bose as a dominant force in mainstream hi-fi rather than high-end boutique or vintage realms.
