Offered is „SUT X-20 -PREIS REDUZIERT-“ by X-quisite as exhibit from the category „Record Player Accessories“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 7725817241 ends on 29.11.2026 at 09:19 o'clock.
Timing matters here because this is a specialist X-quisite piece whose value is tied to matching it with the right front end, and it’s not a replaced or obsolete model in the usual sense. At €5,990, the asking price sits just under your €6,039 25th percentile and below the €6,092 median, so this reads as a strong buy rather than a merely fair one.
What makes it attractive is the pedigree: this is a niche, high-end step-up transformer that’s widely respected for unlocking the cartridge’s speed, tonal purity, and especially cleaner high-frequency behavior when paired as intended. A clean good-condition unit at this level is exactly the kind of listing worth moving on, especially if it includes the box and any original paperwork. I’d only pause to verify that it’s complete and fully functional, since a missing matching setup or evidence of rough handling would matter more than usual on a specialist piece like this.

X-Quisite traces its origins to Turbenthal, Switzerland, where it emerged from the innovative mind of Micha Huber, founder of HiFiction (also associated with Thales and EMT). A mechanical engineer with a background in crafting prototypes for luxury Swiss watches and experience as a music teacher, Huber spent four years developing the brand's core technology after designing the acclaimed Thales tangential-tracking tonearm. Launched around the early 2010s, X-Quisite represents a pinnacle of Swiss precision engineering in analog audio.
The brand specializes exclusively in high-end moving coil phono cartridges, eschewing broader categories like amplifiers, speakers, or DACs. Its lineup, including models like the X-Quisite CA (copper-aluminum), ST (silver-titanium), and exclusive variants such as Extreme Exotics (gold coils in bronze-aluminum-wood), centers on a patented monobloc-ceramic transducer. This one-piece ceramic cantilever and coil body eliminates traditional joints, promising unadulterated signal transmission for supreme detail and natural timbre. Each unit is handmade and personally calibrated by Huber.
Positioned firmly in the ultra-high-end market, X-Quisite commands prices around $13,000 per cartridge, appealing to discerning vinyl enthusiasts seeking boutique perfection. Reviews praise its silent backgrounds, exceptional tracking, and triode-like purity, cementing its reputation as a niche innovator among analog purists.
