KEF R3 Meta Bookshelf Loudspeakers White KEF R3 Meta speakers including matching white KEF S3 speaker stands. Purchased in October 2023 from an Australian authorised KEF dealer. They are just over a year old and present like new. I would estimate maximum 200 hours of use in that time. They were used in a 5x4m room and have had an easy life being driven at reasonable volumes only. I have always kept the magnetic grills on when not in use. These speakers sound amazing (countless reviews have already said it better than I ever could) and I'm only selling as I've decided to downsize and focus
This is an ambitious ask: at A$3,800, it sits well above the typical used market here, and even above the 75th percentile of A$3,200. For a recent, well-regarded pair like this, that’s not outrageous, but it is definitely priced for a seller who’s expecting near-pristine presentation and low-mileage ownership.
The attraction is real: the R3 Meta is a genuinely strong all-rounder, with excellent imaging, clean treble from the Meta tweeter, and enough scale and bass control to suit serious listening rooms. A like-new set can justify a premium if it’s immaculate, complete, and preferably from careful ownership with boxes and accessories. At this price, I’d want proof of condition and ideally a bit of room to negotiate.
