Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Excellent condition at €180 looks like a very solid buy for this one — it lands in the same band as typical recent used asks, where clean examples commonly sit around €160–€190, with some listings stretching higher. At this level, it reads as fair-to-strong value rather than ambitious, especially if the cabinet, grille, and drivers are genuinely tidy.

That’s a good centre if you want dialogue clarity and a full, weighty presentation that can keep up with capable fronts. Nubert’s build and voicing make these popular with home-theater users who want intelligibility without thinness, and a well-kept example in excellent condition is the sort of listing worth moving on quickly. If original packaging or mounting hardware is included, that only sweetens it.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About Nubert

Nubert electronic GmbH traces its roots to a garage in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, where Günther Nubert began crafting loudspeakers to his exacting standards in the early 1970s. On January 10, 1975, he formally founded the company, marking the birth of a brand synonymous with honest, uncolored audio reproduction. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a nationwide phenomenon, fueled by word-of-mouth praise and the debut of iconic models like the 388, 471, 551, and the distinctive omnidirectional nuPyramide. Still under Günther Nubert's leadership as owner and chief developer, the company has maintained family-run independence for over 50 years.

Nubert's product lineup centers on loudspeakers, from passive floorstanders and bookshelves in series like Numero to active systems and powerful soundbars that punch above their weight in home theater performance. Since introducing its first in-house amplifier in 2005, the brand has expanded into integrated electronics, emphasizing neutral signal fidelity across music and film playback. While not venturing into turntables, DACs, headphones, or cables, Nubert prioritizes direct-sales models that deliver high-value engineering without retail markups.

Renowned as a pioneer of Germany's direct-to-consumer hi-fi model since 1995—which drove 40% annual growth amid a shrinking market—Nubert occupies a solid mid-to-high-tier position. Selling around 15,000 pairs yearly at its peak, it appeals to discerning buyers seeking robust, made-in-Germany performance over flashy aesthetics, earning a loyal following for transparent sound that lets source material shine unaltered.
