New, the Teufel BOOMSTER was around €370, so €220 used is a fair price rather than a bargain. It sits just above the €202 median of recent comparable listings and almost exactly at the €221 upper quartile; excellent condition helps justify the asking price, but leaves little room for negotiation.
It remains a strong all-round portable system: a genuinely weighty 2.1 presentation, clear treble, substantial bass, Bluetooth with aptX, DAB+/FM radio, AUX, splash protection, and up to 18 hours of battery life. The carry handle and sturdy build make it particularly versatile indoors or outside, while Dynamore gives a broader impression than most single-box speakers. At €220, it is worth buying if the battery still holds charge well and the charger and remote are included; otherwise, a modest discount would be sensible.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
