Offered is „Integra CDP C-1E – CD Player Bolide, sehr selten – Gelegenheit !“ by Onkyo as second-hand device from the category „CD Player“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 134100852 ends on 30.11.2026 at 12:52 o'clock.
The C-1E sits high in Onkyo’s vintage Integra range, with a substantial chassis, serious power-supply design, and an unusually ambitious DAC section. At €750, though, it looks ambitious rather than a bargain: available used examples and auction results generally point to a much lower broad market, roughly €200–€450 depending on condition, servicing, and accessories.
It remains a compelling player when fully working. The Philips TDA1547-based conversion, fixed and variable analogue outputs, optical output, and heavy aluminium construction give it genuine enthusiast appeal, while an original remote and documented servicing add meaningful value. At this price, insist on flawless disc reading, reliable drawer or top-loader operation, quiet transport behaviour, and confirmation that it is correctly configured for local mains voltage. Without exceptional cosmetic condition and recent professional service, €750 is collector pricing rather than a sensible everyday buy.

Onkyo traces its roots to postwar Japan, founded in 1946 in Osaka by Takeshi Goda, an engineer at Matsushita Electric who envisioned high-quality Japanese loudspeakers. Initially established as Osaka Denki Onkyo K.K., the company began production in 1948 with the acclaimed ED-100 speaker featuring a 25 cm driver, quickly building a reputation through LP concerts and innovative designs that resonated with audiophiles.
The brand excels in premium home audio, renowned for AV receivers, hi-fi amplifiers, and surround sound speakers that deliver exceptional clarity and power. Its portfolio spans turntables, DACs, headphones, and cables, bolstered by acquisitions like Pioneer's home electronics division in 2015, enabling cutting-edge integrations such as internet radio and high-resolution streaming.
Onkyo holds a solid mid-tier position in the hi-fi market, prized by discerning buyers for reliable performance and value rather than ultra-high-end exotica. Despite bankruptcy challenges in the late 2010s, its revival under new ownership preserves a legacy of technological innovation and pure sound enjoyment, appealing to both vintage enthusiasts and modern home cinema setups.
