Offered is „Roma 96 Dc+“ by Synthesis as new device from the category „Fully integrated Amplifier“ on audio-markt.de - the online market place for high-end. The advert with the number 3972423164 ends on 30.11.2026 at 11:06 o'clock.
Against three recent comparable listings, the €1,890 asking price is ambitious: it sits well above the €1,133 median and €1,512 75th-percentile mark, so it is not a typical used-market bargain. At this level, the listing needs to offer exceptional condition, recent valve replacement, or unusually complete provenance to justify the premium.
The 96DC is a distinctive Italian Class A valve integrated, using EL34 output tubes for 25 watts per channel. It is best suited to efficient speakers, where its smooth, engaging presentation and strong midrange can be genuinely rewarding; the built-in phono stage and, depending on version, digital inputs add useful flexibility. A pristine, fully serviced example with healthy valves and original accessories could still appeal to a committed enthusiast, but at €1,890 the buyer should negotiate firmly.

Synthesis Audio is an obscure hi-fi brand with limited verifiable public information available, making a detailed heritage sketch challenging without speculation. No confirmed records pinpoint its founding year, country of origin, or a notable founder, though it appears to operate in the niche realm of boutique audio components rather than mainstream consumer electronics.
The brand's product focus, based on sparse online mentions, centers on high-end amplifiers and integrated systems, potentially extending to DACs and cables, but details on speakers, turntables, or headphones remain unconfirmed and inconsistent across sources.
Positioned as a niche boutique player, Synthesis Audio caters to discerning audiophiles seeking esoteric, handcrafted gear, but it lacks the established reputation of high-end stalwarts like Naim or Magico. Knowledgeable buyers may encounter it in specialty forums, yet its market presence is marginal, warranting caution for unverified performance claims.
