Are you buying a complete, versatile system rather than chasing separate components? At €600, this is clearly ambitious against the comparable-market figures: the median is €207, with the 75th percentile at €409. Even allowing for excellent condition and the receiver-plus-speaker package, the asking price sits well above the normal range and needs unusually strong justification.
The appeal is real: the KB 62 CR is a capable 200-watt CD receiver with DAB+, Bluetooth aptX, USB, optical input, phono connectivity and a subwoofer output. Paired with the UL 40 Mk3 floorstanders, it offers an easy, full-range setup with plenty of connectivity and useful everyday power. If it includes the original remote, pristine cabinets and documented ownership, that improves the proposition, but not enough to make €600 a market bargain. A lower price would turn this into a much more compelling buy.

Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
