This is a buyer’s market at the moment: GBP £599 is a fair price, sitting exactly at the median of 21 comparable listings, though not the bargain territory below the GBP £398 25th percentile. It is well inside the normal range and nowhere near the GBP £1,846 upper quartile, so the seller is not asking anything ambitious.
The Primo Settanta remains appealing for its smooth, rich, low-fatigue presentation, compact Italian build, and useful 70 watts per channel—enough for most sensible partnering speakers. Its wide-band, low-feedback design and substantial analogue power supply give it a more authoritative, refined character than many modest integrateds. At this price, confirm whether the optional phono stage and remote are included, and check input selection, volume operation, and mains compatibility; otherwise, a clean, fully working example is a worthwhile and musically enjoyable buy.

Audio Analogue emerged in 1995 from the vibrant Tuscany region of Italy, specifically Monsummano Terme between Pistoia, Lucca, and Pisa. Born from a synergy of hi-fi experts, electronic engineers, and seasoned sales professionals, the brand began with a passion for music that traces back to the early 1990s through accessory manufacturing like racks and stands. Co-founded by figures including Claudio Bertini, its inaugural product was the limited-run Vivaldi DAC in 1996, marking an unexpected digital start for an analog-focused name.
The company specializes in high-fidelity home audio components, renowned for integrated amplifiers like the Puccini (including its SE variant), Maestro, and Paganini series, alongside CD players, tuners, and power amps such as the Verdi Cento and Class A models. All products are designed and handmade in Italy, emphasizing meticulous engineering and "Made in Italy" craftsmanship that delivers undeniable sound quality.
Audio Analogue holds a respected position in the hi-fi market as a boutique Italian specialist, celebrated for budget-oriented yet high-performing amplifiers that appeal to discerning audiophiles worldwide. Its heritage of reliability and musicality has earned international distributors and enduring acclaim, positioning it as a go-to for those seeking accessible excellence without compromising on passion-driven performance.
