Are you after deep, room-filling bass without spending near the market median? At €599, this is a genuine bargain: it sits well below the €729 25th-percentile comparable and €860 median, making the asking price unusually attractive for a clean example.
The PB-2000 remains a serious performer, with a 12-inch driver, 500-watt amplifier, and ported design capable of authoritative sub-20 Hz output. It brings real weight and scale to films while staying controlled enough for music, and the adjustable phase, crossover, and LFE connectivity make integration straightforward. It is physically large and heavy, so allow for that, but with excellent condition stated and no obvious pricing penalty, this looks like a buying opportunity rather than merely a fair listing.

SVS Sound emerged in 1998 from a garage in Youngstown, Ohio, founded by a team of passionate audio engineers frustrated with overpriced, underwhelming subwoofers. Headquartered in the U.S., the brand disrupted the market by selling high-quality subs directly to consumers online, bypassing traditional retail markups while leveraging American manufacturing and cutting-edge engineering. This direct-to-consumer model, combined with rigorous testing, quickly established SVS as a force in affordable performance audio.
The company specializes in subwoofers, which remain its cornerstone with five dedicated lines from the entry-level 1000 series to the flagship Ultra series, but has expanded into full-range speakers, wireless audio devices, and cables. Under President and CEO Gary Yacoubian, SVS delivers sophisticated technology and immersive sound across home theater and hi-fi categories, prioritizing precision drivers, advanced amplification, and real-world optimization without venturing into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or headphones.
SVS holds a commanding position as the world's top subwoofer brand and a leading "bang-for-the-buck" speaker maker, blending reference-level performance with mid-tier pricing to appeal to discerning buyers seeking high-end results on a budget. No longer just a niche disruptor, it boasts global reach through online and retail channels, earning acclaim for democratizing exceptional audio.
