This looks like an ambitious ask, not a deal: €730 sits just above the €716 75th percentile from 11 comparable listings and is well above the €465 median. It is not wildly out of line for an excellent example, but the price needs to be justified by completeness and genuinely excellent condition rather than treated as a bargain.
The Stereo L remains an appealing all-in-one floorstander, combining Raumfeld Wi-Fi streaming, Bluetooth, multiroom capability, and a substantial three-way design with three carbon woofers per speaker. It offers powerful, room-filling sound without needing a separate amplifier, and the integrated connectivity is a real advantage for a modern system. At €730, verify that both speakers, grilles, accessories, and all streaming functions work properly; otherwise, negotiation toward the market median would be sensible.
Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
Teufel is a German audio brand with roots in Berlin, where it was founded in 1979 by Carl Teufel. Emerging during the heyday of home hi-fi enthusiasm, the company built its heritage on engineering-driven innovation, initially focusing on custom speaker designs that prioritized precision and dynamic sound reproduction for discerning listeners.
The brand excels in active speakers and soundbars, alongside wireless multi-room systems, headphones, and portable Bluetooth options. While not delving into amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, Teufel emphasizes integrated solutions with built-in amplification and app-controlled streaming, catering to modern home entertainment setups.
Positioned as a mid-tier contender with premium aspirations, Teufel enjoys a strong reputation in Europe for delivering high-value performance—bold bass, spacious imaging, and robust build quality—that punches above its price point. It appeals to knowledgeable buyers seeking reliable, stylish hi-fi without ultra-high-end excess, holding a solid niche in the competitive consumer audio market.
