Der Verkauf erfolgt ausschließlich, weil ich auf eine größere Bose-Soundbar umgestiegen bin.

New examples are around €205–€299, depending on the exact Bose TV model and seller, so €180 used is not a bargain. Against 12 comparable used listings, it sits well above the €119 median and the €134 75th percentile, making the asking price ambitious even in excellent condition.
The appeal is straightforward: Bose TV units are compact, easy to operate, and deliver clear, intelligible dialogue with a pleasant upgrade over built-in television speakers. They suit a simple living-room setup, especially with the remote and original power/accessory bundle included. At €180, though, the precise model matters: a current Bose TV Speaker with Bluetooth and HDMI-ARC has more value than an older Solo-series unit. Confirm the model number, remote, HDMI/optical operation, and Bluetooth before buying; otherwise, negotiating closer to €130–€140 would make much more sense.

Bose Corporation traces its roots to 1964, when MIT professor Amar Gopal Bose founded the company in Natick, Massachusetts, after growing disillusioned with the poor performance of a high-end stereo system he purchased as a graduate student. Driven by a passion for replicating the immersive qualities of live music through rigorous acoustic research, Bose launched the venture with initial contracts for the U.S. military and NASA, emphasizing innovative speaker designs that prioritized indirect, reverberant sound over direct radiation. This American heritage, rooted in psychoacoustics and engineering excellence, has defined the brand's pursuit of "Better Sound Through Research."
Bose excels in consumer and professional audio categories, renowned for its home audio systems, premium speakers like the iconic 901 Series, and pioneering noise-canceling headphones first prototyped in the 1980s for pilots. The lineup extends to vehicle sound systems, portable Bluetooth speakers, and professional installations, but steers clear of niche hi-fi components such as amplifiers, turntables, DACs, or cables, focusing instead on integrated, user-friendly solutions that blend advanced signal processing with spatial audio reproduction.
Positioned as a premium mid-tier powerhouse in the global market, Bose commands widespread appeal among discerning buyers seeking accessible high-performance audio without audiophile esoterica. Its reputation for innovation and reliability has built a loyal following, though purists occasionally critique its measured sound signature, cementing Bose as a dominant force in mainstream hi-fi rather than high-end boutique or vintage realms.
