Xgimi is a Chinese consumer-electronics brand founded in 2013 and best known for smart projection rather than traditional hi-fi components. Its public materials describe it as a developer of multi-functional smart projectors and laser TVs, and its early products gained traction through collaborations with names such as Harman/Kardon, Texas Instruments, Baidu, and Google.
For product focus, Xgimi’s core lineup is overwhelmingly projectors: home theater models, portable units, and laser TVs. It is not known as an amplifier, speaker, turntable, DAC, headphone, or cable brand, so it sits outside the conventional audio-component hierarchy even when audio quality is part of its pitch.
In market terms, Xgimi is best described as a mainstream premium-value AV brand rather than a high-end hi-fi specialist or vintage collector label. Its reputation is built on convenience, design, and feature-rich projection at approachable prices, with strong recognition in the projector segment and a focus on broad consumer appeal rather than audiophile exclusivity.
