For a buyer, that means you’d want something extra to justify it — immaculate presentation, complete packaging, proven low use, or a genuinely scarce near-new example.
What makes it worth considering is the K712’s easy, spacious tuning and strong comfort: it’s a long-listening headphone that does imaging and soundstage very well, and the like new condition is the right kind of listing quality. At this price, though, the upside only really works if the pads, headband, cable, and box are all present and pristine; otherwise, it’s a hard pass for me at this level.
