£593 looks fair to slightly ambitious, rather than a clear bargain, unless it includes both the correct Naim cable and excellent provenance. A recent UK used listing was around £404, though one sale is thin evidence; allowing for the Mk2’s newer design and a proper accessory package, £500–£600 is a sensible real-world band.
This is a serious upgrade supply for Naim Supernait and Nait-XS systems, replacing a HiCap with very low noise, strong regulation and notably improved timing, bass definition, dynamics and spatial focus. The SE Mk2 is especially appealing if you want a cleaner, more authoritative presentation without moving to much costlier Naim options. Check that the included DIN cable is the right one, confirm mains compatibility, and ask for a clear age and condition history; at £593, complete accessories and clean ownership should be part of the deal.

Teddy Pardo is a specialist audio brand founded by Teddy Pardo in Israel, with the company describing itself as having more than 20 years of experience in audio engineering. Its roots are strongly tied to the DIY and upgrade culture around Naim systems, which helped establish its reputation among committed hobbyists rather than mass-market buyers.
The brand is best known for linear power supplies, but its range also includes DACs, USB-to-S/PDIF converters, amplifiers, phono stages, cables, and speakers. In practice, Teddy Pardo has built its identity around electronics and system upgrades rather than traditional full-line hi-fi categories like turntables, headphones, or loudspeakers.
In the market, Teddy Pardo sits in the niche boutique high-end segment. It is not a broad mainstream brand; instead, it appeals to enthusiasts who value carefully engineered components, upgradeable separates, and a more natural, low-noise presentation, especially in systems built around Naim and similar source-first setups.
