Seller's Description

Vincent Preamplifier Hi Folks,    Might be a a long-shot, but looking for a Vincent preamplifier. First choice would be an SA-T7, but would also consider an SA-32 (or similar) for the right price. Black would be preferable, but silver is not out of the question - it is the sound I really care about.     I am currently using a integrated as a preamp, and thought it might be worthwhile purchasing a dedicated unit for my power amp.   Thanks,    Adrian    Condition: Used Payment Method: Region/State: (VIC) Victoria/Australia By Age 0 Comments   AUD $1,500 Date: October 18, 20241 yr

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

Timing matters a bit here: this is an older-generation Vincent preamp, so value depends on whether it’s been serviced and how well it’s been kept. At A$1,500, it sits clearly above the recent comparable median of A$932 and even above the A$1,323 75th percentile, so this is ambitious rather than a bargain.

That said, Vincent preamps are generally well-liked for their punchy, full-bodied presentation and solid drive into a wide range of power amps, which keeps them desirable on the used market. If this is a clean, original unit with working controls, the premium can make sense for a buyer who wants one now, but I’d want confirmation on age, service history, and whether the remote, packaging, and any original accessories are included before paying top money.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.
