Seller's Description

AudioQuest Diamond Interconnect Cables (RCA) An absolutely wonderful cable with solid silver conductors. The latest retail prices are eye watering now, so at the asking price is an extremely good deal.  Lenth is 1m and originally purchased from Len Wallis in Lane Cove. The print on the cable is faded but was never that prominent from day one. If you ever wondered what a proper solid silver conductor should sound this would be it, not bright, yet providing a great amount of detail. Made in USA. Featuring genuine WBT locking rca.  Equivalent will be now Audioquest Wind https://www.minidisc.com.a

Our Thoughts RADAR AI

I appreciate the detailed setup, but I need to flag a critical issue: the search results provided are about Australian real estate prices, not audio equipment. They contain no information about AudioQuest DIAMOND cables, used hi-fi pricing, market conditions for audio gear, or comparable listings for this product.

Without access to actual used AudioQuest DIAMOND pricing data or market comparables in AUD, I cannot responsibly write the buyer note you've requested. I can't benchmark the AUD 500 asking price against typical used market rates, identify whether this is a buyer's or seller's market for this cable, or provide model-specific guidance on what to verify before purchase.

To write an honest, useful review note, I'd need:
- Confirmation of which AudioQuest DIAMOND model this is (generation, gauge, connector type)
- Current used market pricing for this specific model in AUD
- Known reliability issues or common failure points for this cable

If you can provide those details or different search results focused on hi-fi audio markets, I'm ready to deliver the tight, no-nonsense buyer take you're after.

Independent perspective — not a price guarantee. Always verify condition, accessories and provenance before purchase.

About AudioQuest

Founded in 1980 by Bill Low in Irvine, California, AudioQuest traces its roots to 1978, when Low, a hi-fi store manager and avid enthusiast, began crafting superior audio cables to overcome the signal degradation he observed in existing products. Dissatisfied with subpar materials and construction, he prioritized advanced conductors like 6N copper, innovative insulation, and precise geometries, quickly earning acclaim after demos at events like the 1979 Summer CES. This passion-driven origin propelled AudioQuest from a cable innovator—first U.S. company to advance signal transmission in 1985—to a global force in high-performance audio.

While renowned for its expansive lineup of analog, digital, and AC power cables, including HDMI for video, AudioQuest has broadened into USB DACs and headphone amps, highlighted by the multi-award-winning DragonFly series launched in 2012. The brand also offers Niagara and PowerQuest power conditioners, alongside custom-install solutions, all engineered to maximize system fidelity without venturing into amplifiers, speakers, or turntables.

AudioQuest commands a premium position in the high-end market, supplying thousands of specialist retailers across 60 countries as the dominant cable provider for discerning audiophiles. Its relentless innovation, from conductor purity to dielectric design, delivers tangible performance gains, cementing a reputation for value and musicality that serious hi-fi buyers trust.
